हाई कोर्ट ने सहायक अध्यापक संविदा भर्ती-2023 में केवल इंग्लिश मीडियम से पास अभ्यर्थियों को ही पात्र मानने पर शिक्षा सचिव, पंचयतिराज सचिव व माध्यमिक शिक्षा निदेशक से जवाब माँगा है। अदालत ने इनसे पुछा है कि ये अभ्यर्थी ही पात्र कैसे है। जस्टिस सुदेश बंसल ने यह निर्देश मयंक कुमार शर्मा कि याचिका पर दिया।
अधिवक्ता आरपी सैनी ने बताया कि राज्य सरकार ने महात्मा गांधी स्कूलों में अध्यापन के लिए 15 जनवरी को 9000 से ज्यादा पदों पर सहायक अध्यापक संविदा भर्ती निकाली है। लेकिन इसमें केवल उन अभ्यर्थियों को ही पात्र माना जा रहा है जो इंग्लिश मध्यम से पास हए है। याचिका में कहा कि प्रार्थी हिंदी से स्नातक है और उसके पास वैकल्पिक विषय के तौर पर इंग्लिश रही है। उसने बीएड और रीट भी इंग्लिश से किया है, लेकिन उसे भर्ती में पात्र नहीं मान रहे। नियमों में केवल अध्यापक पात्रता परीक्षा व बीएड पास होने की ही शर्त है। याचिका में कहा कि राज्य सरकार ने विधार्थियों को अंग्रेजी माध्यम में शिक्षा देने के लिए ही महात्मा गांधी स्कूलों की स्थापना की है। शुरुआत में अन्य सरकारी स्कूलों के हिंदी मीडियम वाले शिक्षकों को भी साक्षात्कार के जरिये चयन कर इन स्कूलों में लगाया है।

Selection Process
- The preference of the candidates found eligible and eligible will be determined at the district level on the basis of marks obtained by adding 75% of the minimum desired educational qualification and 25% of the minimum desired professional educational qualification of the said post.
- In case of more than one candidate having the same marks, the older candidate will be placed higher in preference and the younger candidate will be placed lower in the order of preference.
- If the age is also the same, the one who has higher marks in the minimum educational qualification will be placed higher in priority, while the candidate with lower marks will be placed lower in the priority list.
